Africana Studies at Lafayette College fosters a dynamic and supportive environment for student-led research. Our students engage in innovative projects that explore the rich histories and cultures of African and African diasporic communities. Guided by dedicated faculty, students are empowered to pursue their unique interests. Through hands-on research, students develop critical thinking skills. These projects not only enhance their academic journey but also prepare them to become thoughtful, informed leaders.
